Lance Armstrong over came adversity when he was diagnosed with testicular cancer that had metastasized to his brain and lungs. The young man used technology to get through this illness such as chemotherapy.
Steven Hawking has a rare condition called ALS that disables this motor skills including speech. He over came his physical disability by having a computer that is compatible to his brain and throat, making words appear on screen of what he wanted to say. Hawking also has a wheel chair to help him get place to place.
